Since changing hands in 2019, Andy & Izzy have brought a new influence to this local gem. The Carpenters Arms aims to offer that personal touch. The pub mixes modern day comfort & original features to create a warm inviting atmosphere throughout the bar & restaurant. All are welcome, including dogs and families, whether it's just for a drink or a meal from our delicious menu. Our chefs create innovative dishes using the finest, locally sourced ingredients. Along with serving the full menu daily, we serve specials which change daily. The bar offers a diverse wine list, local ales & spirits along with all your regular favourites.

Just 3 miles outside of the seaside town of Wells-Next-The-Sea, we have plentiful parking & scenic views across local pastures. The double-sided log burner makes the perfect place to while away a cold winter's day whilst the large beer garden provides a tranquil place to soak up the sun.

The Black Lion is just a few miles down the road from Wighton, it is a six bedroom hotel, with a restaurant and bar that welcomes all, dogs included! Open EVERYDAY for breakfast, lunch, dinner & drinks!
Along with serving food & drinks we also play live sport in the bar area - next up is the six nations rugby! We also do Open Mic nights and quiz nights!
